Welcome!

Well! We've had a lot of changes in this humble little abode recently and the timing just felt right to claim a little corner of the internet as my own and start documenting all the oh-so-precious moments we share as a family.

First, a little introduction. If you're new here, welcome! My name is Mariah and I'm the mom. I spend my days slaving away, trying to make this little apartment a happy, healthy home. Here, we abide by three simple rules: live, laugh, and love.

These three words might seem simple to the outsider, but they have depth and weight like you would not believe. These are fundamental L words that really have shaped our lives like you would not believe. More on that later. That's a post you won't want to miss.

The other members in my sweet little family from L to R are Shan-dawg, Jewels, Bernie, C-babes, and A-cakes. Then of course, yours truly is the one on the far right. I know, I know. I look good for my age.

Anyway, the changes in our family have been SUBSTANTIAL! You would not believe it. After Monie decided to spread her wings and fly away last semester, we experienced a great vacancy in our home which could only be filled by adoption. So C-babes came into our lives and while we still miss Monie, C-babes has been such a joy to our lives. More on that later.

I think that pretty much covers it for this first post. Welcome to my mommy bloggy. I'm happy you're here to join us on this wild ride we call LIFE!!!!
